Reservations for each season’s events will go “live” at 8:00 am on January 2nd of each year.
General Info
- Reserving an RV or Carport space provides you three things:
- An assigned, reserved space in the paddock
- Electrical power
- Carports provide covered workspace with a smooth concrete floor
- All 20A duplex outlets are NEMA 5-15 configuration
- All 30A RV outlets are NEMA TT-30 configuration
- All 50A RV outlets are NEMA 14-50 configuration
- Because we must truck in all of our water, at this time there is no other running water (for filling buckets, RV’s, washing cars, etc) at HPR. There is a KOA located 20 minutes away in Strasburg where you can fill/dump for a small fee.
- RV and Carport rental fees are paid directly to High Plains Raceway via the third party website MotorsportReg unless the event host has made other arrangements for their use.
- Overnight use/occupancy must be prearranged and the overnight gate attendant fee paid for either by the host club or any individual RV/Carport space renter. MOST of the time the weekend host club pays the fee for the gate attendant on Friday and Saturday nights. Please consult the HPR Event Calendar and/or the event registrar for your event to confirm that overnight use is available on the night you plan to stay. Nights listed as “Paddock open 24 hours” on the HPR Event Calendar are the only nights where you may stay in the paddock overnight.
- Reservations made through our online system for a multi-day event start and end on the dates listed in the event title on the MotorsportReg RV/Carport reservation website. The space is yours from when the gates open on the first day until the gates close on the last day, or until the event has concluded. You may come and go as you please during that period but credits/refunds will not be given for partial use.
- To reserve a spot please visit the RV/Carport reservations page.
- To MODIFY an existing reservation, log into your MSR account and go to the “event dashboard” for that weekend and you will see the option to update/change your registration. Check or uncheck the appropriate boxes and then click “preview order” at the bottom of the page. If there is an additional balance due you can pay that on the next page.
Camping without an RV/Carport Reservation
- There is approximately 6 acres of unreserved paddock space available that is first come, first serve.
- Tent camping, car camping, or “dry” RV camping is allowed in the paddock on any nights when the calendar indicates “Paddock Open 24 Hours”. HPR does not charge for tent/car/dry camping. Event hosts may charge a camping fee for anyone staying in the paddock overnight.
- If the event calendar does not indicate “Paddock Open 24 Hours” on a particular night then no one will be allowed to stay in the paddock after the gates close. You are welcome to dry camp on the 1/4 mile entry road outside the gate if the paddock is closed to overnight use.
- Long rigs should be oriented North-South, the same as the reserved RV/Carport spaces. Rigs oriented East-West will be told to move if paddock space becomes scarce.
- If you are camped/parked outside of the RV/Carport areas you may not run extension cords across the asphalt to share power.
Forgot which space you rented?
- Log into your MSR account and go to the “event dashboard” for the event in question.
- Click on the “Print Receipt” option and a screen will come up with a list of the space(s) you have reserved.
RV / Trailer Storage
- RV’s or trailers may be stored on the property for five days or less (ie, between two consecutive events) for free.
- Storage for six days or more is $200 per month, in increments of one month and a one month minimum.
- Storage fees must be paid in full in advance.
